Just last week, 8 people died and 20 others got injured when a convoy of Fancy Gadam had an accident on their way to welcome Patoranking to Tamale, where he is billed to perform with the self-acclaimed King of Northern music, Fancy Gadam.
Zylofon cash staff were among the deceased persons.
Following that accident, the mayor of Tamale blamed it on the artiste, Fancy Gadam. He believed, Fancy’s talent is a danger to the people of Tamale. Adding that, he will not allow one single individual to take the people of Tamale to ransom.
The Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), Musah Superior accused Fancy Gadam of using human blood to enrich his talent.

“Fancy Gadam is an irresponsible talent. We are not going to allow one single dividual to take Tamale to ransom. His talent is a danger to the people of Tamale. Do you want to use the blood of the people to make money? We will not allow it!”he said, very angrily.
Mujahid Ahmed Bello, known by his stage name Fancy Gadam hitherto to becoming a musician was a dancer but gave music a try and became successful.
His fame and fan base in Tamale grew and broke the record when he filled up the 21, 0000 capacity Tamale Sports Stadium during one of his concerts which eventually earned an award at the 2017 VGMA’s when he was barely known by many.
In July 2016, Fancy Gadam who was a guest artiste during Sala Jams to mark Islamic Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations in Asesewa encountered his first disaster when nine persons died in a stampede.
Nine people died when a false alarm was raised at the Asawase Community centre that there was going to be a rancour between two musicians Fancy Gadam and another billed to perform at the event.
In the ensuing pandemonium, the deceased persons including 6 females and 3 males were trapped and eventually lost their lives making it 17 in total death since Fancy Gadam ditched dancing to become a musician
