Wisa’s trial is over - D-Black President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his delight at the conclusion of the two-year trial of Wisa Greid, D-Black has said. Desmond Blackmore, better known as D-Black, who is the C.E.O of Black Avenue Music, paid a courtesy call on the President of Ghana together with members of his team including Wisa Greid earlier in May. The visit to the Jubilee House came a day after Wisa had concluded his trial, raising questions about the motive for the meeting. However, D-Black in an interview with JoyNews’ Maxwell Amoofia stated that the visit to Jubilee House was scheduled long before the judgment was pronounced. ‘We paid a courtesy call upon an invitation he gave us. We are officially opening our offices… It wasn’t a planned thing. We didn’t know there was going to be a ruling the day before’, he said.
