Suicide Bomber Killed While Trying To Detonate His Bomb In Borno A lone male  suicide bomber  was killed after being shot by security operatives while trying to detonate his bomb at Post office area in Maiduguri, capital of  Borno State , on Saturday night. The suicide bomber who was shot dead – failed to kill anyone in the process. According to a statement by the spokesman of the Borno State Police Command, DSP Edet Okon, the lone suicide bomber detonated his bomb at about 7:15pm when he saw the massive police deployment at Oando petrol station in Post Office area of Maiduguri. He was said to be heading towards Monday Market. Edet said men of the Explosive Ordinance Department have been deployed to sanitize the scene and render the area safe.
