Why Musicians In Nima, Mamobi Do Not Go Far In The Music Industry


Since Music has become part of Human life, Most people especially the youth find interest in doing music than any other thing now days, Some have the dreams of becoming legends in Music.

In Ghana, Music has becomes competition among the youth, Most of the youth in various part of the country good music’s to win award when it is time and some also do music to earn a good living. 

Top Musicians in Ghana such as Sarkordie from Tema, Stonebwoy from Ashiaman, Yaa Pono from Tema, Guru from Kumasi, Kofi Kinaata from Tadi, Shatta Wale and many more other Musicians has been know both in Ghana and  International.  
The question now is “Why Musicians from Nima and Mamobi are not being known?”

For some time now, musicians from this towns are known for their hits songs then later go off the lane, nobody knows their ways about. Musicians like D-Sherrif, Sassco,Rudebwoy Ranking, Gariba and many more musicians in Nima, Mamobi who got the talent to do good music and go far and even win award in the Ghana Music Awards festival but none has ever got nomination before.

Most of engage themselves in other activities that will destroy their career, some also feel proud of themselves and that they can not work with other top musicians with the various conditions. Most engage in too much smoking and does not concentrate on their career, only few are making it but yet they are not at the top yet to known as International artists.

 Does it means they are not serious with their career? Or they don’t have the financial support to promote their music to the world.
