La Liga Club Hold Talks With Agent Of Chelsea Star As Player Pushes
For Loan Switch
Sevilla have held initial talks with the agent of Chelsea striker
Alvaro Morata about a potential loan move, according to reports in the UK.
The Blues are said to be willing to let the 26-year-old leave this
month if they can find a replacement before the transfer window closes.
Gonzalo Higuain has been talked about as a potential new addition to
the squad, but it is believed that AC Milan’s loan agreement with Juventus for
the Argentinian could make the deal too complex.
Callum Wilson is also reportedly being considered while PSG’s Edinson
Cavani has also been talked of as a potential target.
Morata has scored nine goals this season but manager Maurizio Sarri
has questioned his confidence levels with the Spaniard having been unable to
establish himself as a regular first-team player under the Italian.
The striker scored twice against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup on
Saturday but didn’t celebrate either goal. Reports in Spain say that this was
deliberate as he doesn’t feel respected at Stamford Bridge and he is pushing
for a move to Sevilla.
