Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (born 16 July 1990), known professionally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He started recording music at age 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. 

In 2009, he signed a record deal with Banky W.'s record label Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E). He rose to prominence in 2010 with the release of the song "Holla at Your Boy" from his debut studio album, Superstar (2011). Wizkid's self-titled second studio album, Ayo, was released in September 2014 and was preceded by six singles: "Jaiye Jaiye", "On Top Your Matter", "One Question", "Joy", "Bombay" and "Show You the Money". Wizkid has become a legend in the Nigerian music industry.

Ejigayehu Shibabaw, known by her stage name Gigi (born October 21, 1974) is an Ethiopian singer. Considered a huge contemporary artist, she has performed the music of Ethiopia in combination with a wide variety of other genres, often in collaboration with her husband Bill Laswell, a bassist and producer. Gigi recorded two albums for the expatriate Ethiopian community, but it was her 2001 album, titled simply Gigi, that brought her widespread attention. She had been noticed by Palm Pictures owner Chris Blackwell, who had years earlier introduced reggae to the mainstream through his former label, Island Records. Blackwell and Gigi's producer (and later, husband) Bill Laswell, decided to use American jazz musicians (including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Pharoah Sanders, and others) to accompany Gigi on the album.

Ramy Essam (Arabic: رامى عصام‎, pronounced [ˈɾɑːmi ʕeˈsˤɑːm]; born 1987) is an Egyptian musician.[1] He is best known for his appearances in Tahrir Square in Cairo during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011. Ramy was born in 1987 in Mansoura, Egypt.[2] Ramy is one of the few singers in Middle East to sing hard rock.

In 2011 Ramy exploded into international fame as the real voice of the Egyptian revolution. His songs spread like wildfire among the demonstrators, and during the height of the uprising Ramy performed in front of millions of people in the Tahrir Square. His song Irhal,

Toofan is a musical group founded in 2005 in Togo whose instrumental is about a new concept in West African music: the "cool-catché". The dance itself seems simple, but it is a mixture of neck movements accompanied by a presentation of the feet opposed to the logic imposed by the movements of the neck. This concept was the subject of a report by France 24 as summer music. More precisely, it is the C'est magik clip that has benefited from this.

The group is also known for a new concept, the "gweta", appeared in 2013 and whose gesture aims to "dodge the jealous".

The group is composed of Masta Just and Barabas. He composed the Anthem of the African Cup of Nations Football 2012 2 and 2015.
