Popcaan is sending love and support out for his former mentor Vybz Kartel ahead of his upcoming appeal trial.


On Tuesday, the Dancehall entertainer uploaded a throwback photo with the self-proclaimed ‘Worl’ Boss’ to his Instagram account.

“2008 make the link wid the world boss… @vybzkartel respect alway goes out to a real OG??big up all who was a empire member..!!! New album July 20 2018.. #FOREVER #FIRM&STRONG #FREEUP,” Popcaan wrote.

Vybz Kartel and Popcaan are reportedly still not on speaking terms however sources close to the two say the ‘Stray Dog’ deejay is praying for the Dancehall superstar as his appeal trial starts next week Monday.

“We all know Vybz Kartel nah deal wid Popcaan but him still a try show him loyalty any way him can,” the source said. “A nuff little things Poppi do from other day fi try get back inna Addi good book… mi rate him effort.”
