VYBZ KARTEL SEND WARNING TO  TOP DANCEHALL ARTISTS

VYBZ has reportedly sounded off a warning to the current crop of artists dominating the Dancehall scene.
Over the weekend, the incarcerated deejay’s Instagram account shared a photo of the “Under Water” deejay, issuing a stern warning to fellow entertainers.
“Who hot a we mek dem hot!.. Gwan enjoy unuh self-cause #dicometiscoming,” read the caption of the post.
The message was greeted with mixed reactions from music fanatics with many arguing that the statement from Vybz Kartel was “disrespectful to the artists who have worked hard for their talents to be seen.”
Wonder if him know a piece of the pie is there for everybody kmt. When him dead and gone, wonder if him duppy ago come back and chat shit KMT,” one user commented.
“Kartel badmind uf him nuh waa admit the fact say the young artist dem hotter dan him … Look how long him in dancehall feem time up  badmind f**ka ,” another added.

However, the often controversial entertainer was not short of support as his hardcore fans who came to his defense.
“Nuff a uno a chat…but nuff artist caan get a forward unless dem call the BOSS name  #RealBossSoonDoRoad,” one fan expressed.
The Jamaican entertainer, whose given name is Adidja Palmer, is currently serving a life sentence for murder. Despite being imprisoned since 2011, he has managed to maintain his relevance in Dancehall even more so than the vast majority of artists who have been active over the past decade.
Earlier this month, he announced the title of his upcoming album, “Exiled Pharoah,” which will be the follow-up to his 2016 critically-acclaimed album, “King of the Dancehall.”
Vybz Kartel is currently awaiting a verdict following his appeal for his 2014 conviction for the killing of Clive “Lizard” Williams.
