The negative comments have led to attacks from Sarkodie's fans - Shatta Wale has responded with a warning to Sarkodie's fans to behave Dancehall stalwart Shatta Wale has responded to criticisms from Sarkodie's fans with a warning for them to shut up. Shatta Wale has come under a lot of criticisms from Sarkodie's fans over comments he made about the rapper during an interview on Hitz FM on Tuesday. The Dancehall King while speaking on the Accra-based radio station as part of his promotional tour for his upcoming 'The Reign' album made very sensitive remarks about Sarkodie.

Among the many things he said was the fact that he [Shatta Wale] felt somehow disrespected when Sarkodie failed to shoot a music video for their song ‘Megye Wo Girl’ but was quick to shoot one with a Nigerian artiste.

 Apart from that, Shatta Wale talked about how Sarkodie brags about having sold out tickets but refuses to support his community like he [Shatta] does. "No, he doesn't. Sarkodie doesn't help his people because he does not have money to do it," he responded to Andy Dosty's claim that Sarkodie helps his people.

 Shatta Wale's comments have not gone down well with Sarkodie's fans who have taken to social media to attack him. Responding to the attacks, Shatta Wale asked Sarkodie's fans to behave because he has been personally telling the rapper all the things he said in the interview whenever they meet. 

  "Hey @sarkodie fans behave kwraa cuz your boss when I meet him and I tell him these things everytime ...so shut up and shut up ..You ppl deh kill his career .. Just shut up !!!!!! Sark wan ur fans ooo yoooo !!!!" 

 Shatta Wale has always been known to be a firebrand who speaks his mind without mincing words.

 But he has always had a very close relationship with Sarkodie. It, therefore, comes as a surprise that he has decided to attack him now.
