“Make Sure You Launch Your Next Album To The Rich People You Invited For Your Wedding” – Some Sarkodie Fans Angry At His Selective Wedding Invite

Ghanaians witnessed ‘The Highest’ wedding ceremony for the past decade between Sarkodie and Tracy on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at a private ceremony inside the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra.
Prior to the above-mentioned event, Sarkodie’s wedding invitation card which trended on social media platforms was strictly by invitation. Lo and behold, the rapper’s epic wedding over the weekend was star-studded. It’s in this light that most loyal fans of Sarkodie are pissed-off.
Fans of Sarkodie who are not happy with how the rapper invited only popular personalities at the expense of those who grace his musical concerts took to social media to vent their anger on him.
In the voice of the angry fans, those that Sarkodie failed to invite them are the very people who patronise his annual Rapperholic shows as well as music. Therefore thy can’t fathom why their favourite rapper should reduce the core fans to nothingness.
“Next time when you’re set to release an album, make sure you invite all those who attended the wedding and launch it to them privately like the wedding. Let Strongman be the MC. You can take us for granted”, an angry fan blasted Sarkodie on Facebook.
Besides, comedian DKB who has always been in support of Sarkodie’s music was surprised that his favourite musician failed to invite him. Angry DKB shared his sentiment via micro blogging platform, twitter that;
“After hosting 2015, 2016 #Rapperholic, purchasing & attending Highest album launch, hyping every release, I thought I had a special place in friend list to be invited to Sarkodie and TracySarkcess wedding but setewaa 😢 😢
Nonetheless, blogger Benjamin Kesse in reference to Sarkodie’s wedding swerve wrote on social media particularly Facebook that;
“😂😂Check like Niggas no make happy kraaa o…but really you don’t expect him to invite every fan to his wedding. Bloggers who contributed 90% to his success sef, he dawg, na fans..”
Amidst the chastisement, blogger Chris Handler served tried to reason with Sarkodie following the serve of loyal fans who were eager to attend “The Highest” wedding with the explanation below;
Some fans are angry he didn’t invite them but chale you should understand the king, he can’t possibly invite everyone to the wedding.
The SarkNation is more than 300k in Ghana and even Rapperholic that is a paid event, not everyone is able to get tickets to buy because of the size of our event centers in the country—(We are waiting for that 30k capacity buildings)
Maybe Sark should do a Q & A for the fans with Tracy on Facebook live—That should make those bored happy. King Sark–Bow Down To Greatness.
