Kwesi Arthur who earned a nomination at the 2018 BET Awards Viewersʼ Choice: Best New International Act category has finally spoken about the nomination.

The ‘Grind Day’ coiner took to Instagram after the news about his nomination went viral to express his excitement about the nomination and more importantly urged Ghanaians to support him to take his music and Ghana to the world. He wrote;
“This journey just gets crazier each day, who ever thought a kid from C9-Tema, Ghana would be nominated for such a prestigious award!! We thank God for the grace, and I can’t thank you people enough for you support! Setting the record straight, Kwesi Arthur registered his name on the lips of Ghanaian music enthusiasts when he teamed up with Sarkodie and Medikal to remake ‘Grind Day’ song produced by Kayso.

Since then, his name in a way has become a household name. His style is undoubtedly unique comparably to his colleagues in the game of rap cum Hip-Hop in Ghana.
