Kwabena Kwabena Refused To Feature On Sarkodie’s Mary Album – Akwaboah Reveals

It has always been in the news that rapper Sarkodie is selective when it comes to collaborations. Recall that Ivorian Freddy Meiway blasted Sarkodie for his failure to feature on his album.

But a revelation made by Akwaboah  of SarkCess Music has shown that his label boss isn’t the only artiste who’s selective when it comes to collaborating with other artistes.
According to Akwaboah, the song ‘Nobody’s Business’s on Sarkodie’s Mary album was meant to be a collaboration between Sarkodie and Kwabena Kwabena but the latter refused to collaborate based on reasons best known to him (Kwabena).
“Actually, I wanted Kwabena Kwabena to do this song. I wrote this song for him. I called him several times but he did not mind me,” he told Citi TV’s Kojo Akoto Boateng.
He revealed that in the absence of the ‘adult music’ hit maker forced him to sing the chorus for Sarkodie to deliver the rap.
“In the absence of Kwabena, I had to sing the chorus myself for Sark to do the rap as usual”.
Don’t forget that Akwaboah wrote about 90% of the songs on Sarkodie’s fourth studio album christened ‘Mary’. It’ll interest you to know that Sarkodie on several occasions has tipped ‘Mary’ album to be his best album ever. To him, it’s timeless and every song was recorded live kind courtesy Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr. commonly known as Akwaboah
