Davido Is Winner Of Best International Act At the 2018 BET Awards

Nigeria’s Davido is the winner of the 2018 Best International Act at this year’s BET awards which was held yesterday, June 24th, 2018.

This year’s edition was very competitive as two categories were merged; the Best UK Act and Best Act Africa. This year’s edition saw Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Booba (France), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Dadju (France), Distruction Boyz (South Africa), Fally Ipupa (DR Congo), J Hus (UK), Niska (France) Stefflon Don (UK) and Stormzy (UK) and Davido (Nigeria) all competing in the same category as Best International Act.
No Ghanaian act was able to make it into this year’s edition in that category but Kwesi Arthur was later on nominated in another category, Viewers Choice Awards but lost it to a South African artiste who was also nominated.

Davido had an excellent year and he dropped hits after hits and was really all over the place. It’s a win that is 

well-deserved and we are excited for him.
