Zylofon Music To Sue Stonebwoy For Breach Of Contract?


A few weeks ago, reggae/ dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and Zylofon Music were reported to have certain issues where it was rumoured that the former wanted to leave the record label.

On Thursday morning, the PRO of Zylofon Music, Mr. Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo in an interview with Sammy Forson on Hitz FM made some things clear concerning Stonebwoy’s most recent radio interview when he said his management should be contacted for deals. Mr Asamoah-Baidoo made mention that Stonebwoy is still signed under Zylofon Music thus, all who need the services of the artiste must contact the record label.
Stonebwoy is still a Zylofon recording artiste and there is no dispute about it. I remember on March 13, there was a relase by or for the label outlining all the celebrities under the brand and Stonebwoy’s name was in there. On March 23rd, there was another release which actually specified that if there is any organisation/firm that would want to engage Stonebwoy as an artiste, the person must seek the approval of Zylofon Music and that still stands. As far as we are concerned as a label, Stonebwoy is still signed to us.
