– Shatta Wale’s latest song, ‘Gringo’ has gained a lot of traction on social media ever since the release of its movie-themed music video
Well known spiritualist, Kwaku Bonsam, who is noted as a staunch fan of Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has endorsed the artiste’s latest song with a self-recorded video.
In the video that was posted on the Facebook page of the award-winning singer, the popular spiritualist was seen singing along to the song.
Kwaku Bonsam was spotted in a cowboy hat and was seen nodding his head and mumbling some lines of the Gringo song which was released not too long ago.
The latest song to be released by Shatta Wale and his team at Zylofon Media has been touted as one of the most expensive music videos ever to be shot by a Ghanaian artiste.
The much anticipated video, after its release has garnered an impressive number of views on social media.
Reports have it that ‘Gringo’ has risen above Stonebowy’s ‘Tomorrow’ hit song which hitherto was the main talk of town.
Many fans and followers of Shatta Wale, just like Kwaku Bonsam, have recorded videos of themselves either singing or dancing to the new song of the ‘Taking Over’ hit maker.
However, some social media users have accused the 2018 VGMA award winner of plagiarizing the concept of his music video from a popular American movie titled, ‘A million ways to die in the West’.
shatta Wale has made waves on social media with his song and some people have accused him of going overboard with his ‘aggressive’ way of hyping the song.
The recent comments come on the heels of a post made by Shatta Wale on Twitter pleading with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to also hashtag his song since some of his government appointees have already endorsed the song.
