The 11th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Awards comes off in September this year  and as usual, our Ghanaian celebrities have earned some nominations in the prestigious award ceremony which will take place in New York.

So What Nominations Did our Ghanaian celebrities earn?

Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei and Stonebwoy were all nominated in the African Male Artist (Non Nigerian / Africa) category.

  7. Shirley Frimpong Manso’s Rebecca also got nominated in Best Picture as well as Beast Of No Nation and Silver Rain.
In the Africa Non Nigerian Disc Jockey category, Dj Mensah and DJ Vyrusky also got a nomination there.
Interestingly  “Skin Tight” hit maker Mr Eazi i was also nominated in the Diaspora Artiste category and Most Promising Act category.
The NEAs is an annual award ceremony with primary objective of recognizing the contributions of Nigerian and African Entertainers.
The award ceremony, in its 11th year, is not only focused on recognizing Nigerian entertainers but also highlight Nigerians who continue to make an impact in our immediate communities in Nigeria or extended communities in the diaspora.
