Three most wanted thieves in Kwesimintim, two others arrested The Police in Kwesimintim have arrested five alleged notorious thieves who have been terrorizing residents within the Effia Kwesimentsim Municipality of the Western Region. Three of the suspects – Joseph Ackah, Fredrick Ghartey and Kwabena Anokye – the police say, are most wanted and been on their radar for the past two years. The rest are Kojo Baah and Simon Aidoo alias Tiger Police retrieved from them television sets, mobile phones, cameras, welding machines and a cash amount of GHC375. Justice for Latif: GJA disappointed in IGP The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) is unhappy with the seeming reluctance of Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante-Apeatu, in the handling of the case in which some police officers brutalised Multimedia Journalist, Latif Iddris.
