Drake subtly hits back at Kanye West after the rapper calls him 'insensitive' Looks like  Kanye West and Drake's feud  isn't coming to an end any time soon. On Wednesday, West addressed their bad blood which was recently rekindled after the 41-year-old rapper produced Pusha T's album, "Daytona," which includes the song "Infrared" that takes shots at Drake. After Drake released "Duppy Freestyle" -- targeting both Pusha T and West -- in response, Pusha T released his devastating diss track titled "The Story of Adidon." The scathing track accused Drake of  having a secret illegitimate son , as well as unearthed a photo of Drake wearing blackface, which  Drake later addressed. West was conciliatory towards Drake during his appearance on Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI Morning Show, and insisted that he didn't give Pusha T the material for "The Story of Adidon." However, he did call Drake "insensitive" fo

Machine Gun Kelly Comes Out Swinging Against 'Rap God' Eminem on Diss Track 'Rap Devil' "Knees weak of old age, the real Slim Shady can't stand up," raps MGK on the diss track lighting up Twitter on Labor Day. Machine Gun Kelly  lit up  Eminem  with 4 minutes and 43 minutes of trash talk on his new diss track, "Rap Devil," and listeners are reacting to the piece of work on Labor Day with a mix of praise, concern and disses of their own. MGK, who  used  to call Slim Shady an idol, dropped the track on Monday with this message on Twitter: "F--K RAP GOD IM THE RAP DEVIL (sic). good morning Eminem." "im standing up for not just myself, but my generation. im doing the same shit you did back in ur day (sic)," MGK said in another tweet. "life is still real on my side, and i had to take time from the grind to defend myself from someone i called an idol. love, Rap Devil." The new track -- the inverse of

Sad story: Unemployed professional Nurse now working as Kayayei in Accra as she awaits MoH posting Her hopes of taking care of patients dashed the moment she left the walls of the nursing training school in 2016 after several years of training. Homebound for two years without a job, she decided to engage in head-ferrying for survival. Fadila Ndebugre, a young nurse who was trained at the Dunkwa-On-Offin Nursing Training College in the Central Region, has had to resort to head-ferrying of loads (kayayo) for shoppers at the Madina market, for survival, as she awaits her posting by the Ministry of Health, so she can practise as a nurse – two years after leaving school. Watching Fadila Ndebugre, a trained nurse, struggling with other head potters in Accra to make a living is the moment that causes one to wonder why millions even bother to queue for enrollment into tertiary institutions in Ghana. The young nurse who has resorted to carrying wares for patrons who are unable to co

Chelsea star Eden Hazard admits he prefers Maurizio Sarri’s football to Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte’s The Belgian superstar believes his new manager allows him to play his natural game, whereas his defensive-minded predecessors did not Chelsea star Eden Hazard believes Maurizio Sarri helps him to enjoy his football, unlike previous bosses Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte. The 27-year-old has two goals and two assists in his opening four games under the new Blues manager and appears to be thriving with his possession-based style of play. After last season’s 1-0 defeat away at Manchester City, Hazard claimed he could’ve played for three hours and not touched the ball, as Conte forced him to chase aerial balls. Mourinho often criticised Hazard for ignoring his defensive responsibilities, but Sarri allows the Belgian to express himself in attacking areas with the ball at his feet. Hazard told  Chelsea  TV: “I like to have the ball. Not in my own half, but in the last 30

How many years did the Roman Civilization last?

Image
How many years did the Roman Civilization last?   The Roman Empire existed from 27 BC to AD 1453 for a total of 1480 years. What? 1453! Yes, only Rome the city fell in AD 476. Western European historians (and people) are too focused on the impact of the Fall of Rome (the city), because that was a time of tumultuous change for them. The capital of the whole Roman Empire had already moved to Constantinople in AD 330 by Emperor Constantine. That was because the east had always been was the economic centre of the Empire. Ephesus (now in Turkey), Rome’s second largest city, was the terminus of the various Silk Trade Routes. The people of that day still called it the Roman Empire. It was still large but they gave up on Northern Europe. A revisionist German historian in the 16th century came up with the name Byzantine Empire. There was no such thing. The reasons why it lasted so long will be explored in walk 3 of my series on Rome Walks, starting with Amaz
